Tangent Line with Implicit Differentiation: xy-9x+9=0, x=3

Description: In this video “Implicit differentiation – equation of a tangent” I show how to find the equation of a tangent line when given an implicit equation. The implicit equation is an equation that cannot be solved or easily solved for y i.e. not have a plus and minus pop up or have a y^^3+y^2+yx or something like that. The general idea is to take the derivative of everything and isolate the y’ and the evaluate it at the given values of x and y and then use the point slope form of an equation to find the tangent line at that point
