Rationalize the Denominator (How To + 3 Examples, use Conjugate)

How to get rid of radicals in the bottom (denominator) of fractions.
* If the radical is on its own, just multiply by the radical.
* If there is a sum (+) or difference (-) on the bottom, you’ll need the CONJUGATE. That way the product on the bottom will be a difference of squares and the radicals will disappear.
