Observing at INT, La Palma – Lancaster University Physics

Lancaster University astrophysics students got the wonderful oppurtunity to observe with the Isaac Newton telescope in La Palma during May 2018.

We decided to film our journey and our time there. We spent our nights here observing our own chosen targets including spiral galaxies, nebulae, and globular clusters.

This opportunity, run by Dr David Sobral, is available for undergraduate physics students and will be repeated again next year for more students to be able take part in.
