We work with two different subspaces in this video example. In the first part, we work with a subspace of R3 and find a basis for the subspace. Since the basis has two vectors we can conclude the subspace is two-dimensional.

In the second example we work with a subspace of R2. In this example, the basis for the subspace consists of just a single vector and thus is a one-dimensional subspace. We visualize the set of points in the R2 plane and confirm the subspace is indeed a one-dimensional line.
