This video is just a general introduction to approaching the solving of physics problems for beginners. The idea is to show students how to analyze a problem without even reading it.

4-step process

(1) Determine what you are trying to find e.g. velocity, acceleration, force, …

(2) Write down the appropriate formulae, given measurements and convert to proper units.

(3) List symbols for unknown measurements. (Free body diagram, if necessary.)

(4) Strategize and solve the unknowns. (Read and significant units.)
