In the last video, Intro to Systems of ODEs, we found out that if we want to solve a system, we need a little linear algebra. Specifically, we have to solve the eigen-problem for a matrix. In this video, we build up half a semester’s worth of linear algebra in half an hour, and I show how to solve the eigen-problem, both in theory, and with software.
